About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell Professional Services across different accounts in the Central US region
  • Generate revenue opportunities by developing client solutions and service offerings
  • Create an opportunity pipeline to meet quarterly bookings expectations
  • Negotiate project deliverables, schedules, and costs with external suppliers and internal OpenText groups
  • Build relationships and communicate with C-level stakeholders to influence strategic decisions
  • Update opportunity status regularly in the CEM system (Salesforce.com)
  • Work with the sales team to generate revenue in existing accounts through solution realization, enhancement, and operational services
  • Manage resource forecasting, opportunity forecasting, proposal/SOW writing, approvals, contract status, and invoicing status
  • Report quarterly revenue and bookings accurately to the Regional Vice-President
  • Partner with Professional Services on RFP development, opportunity tracking, business development sessions, and account activity communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree or College Diploma and/or relevant IM/IT experience (10+ years) or equivalent
  • Experience selling Professional Services
  • Expertise in complex business and technical processes and their enterprise implications
  • Knowledge of project management disciplines and processes
  • Knowledge of OpenText product offerings and how to associate them with client business requirements preferred
  • Ability to use standard methodologies to evaluate and size opportunities
  • Ability to assemble business requirements to OpenText modules and provide budgetary estimates
  • At least two years of prior experience closing and directing engagements totaling at least $1 million in annual fees
  • Experience selling to and/or working for enterprise clients across the United States
  • Strong communication skills and professional maturity
  • At least 10 to 15 years of working experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 3–4 days per week at times
