About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and implementation of EDI/B2B integration solutions
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation strategies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and provide EDI/electronic commerce recommendations
- Lead mapping and integration teams by setting technical direction, priorities, methodologies, and quality standards
- Manage multiple complex projects and programs simultaneously
- Ensure successful delivery, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence
- Review and approve technical deliverables before client review
- Drive testing strategy and execution, including test planning, validation, defect resolution, regression testing, and release readiness
- Provide production support and troubleshoot integration and translation issues
- Conduct root-cause analysis while maintaining SLA commitments
- Act as a subject matter expert for OpenText integration solutions
- Manage trading partner relationships and mentor junior consultants
- Identify business-requirement gaps and recommend process, solution, and operational improvements
- Partner with Sales and Professional Services teams on solution reviews, proposals, and client engagements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems/Computer Science preferred
- 4-5 years of direct hands-on EDI implementation and mapping experience
- Excellent knowledge of translation products and mapping applications, including various versions of Contivo
- Experience with B2B translation flows, mapping analysis, and map development
- Experience with X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, and XML standards
- Proven analytical skills and ability to solve complex client problems
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership
- Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred
- Good scripting/programming abilities
- Proficiency using OpenText analysis and knowledge of OpenText products/services
- Knowledge of one or more industries such as Transportation, Automotive, Petroleum, High-tech, Retail, or Healthcare
