About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Run discovery workshops with business and IT stakeholders at customer organizations
  • Capture functional and business requirements in clear, well-structured documentation
  • Map requirements to Oper’s product, distinguishing out-of-the-box functionality, configuration, and engineering needs
  • Translate business needs into user stories and functional specifications
  • Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review technical API documentation from core banking systems, CRMs, and online banking platforms
  • Identify and define integration points with Oper engineering
  • Document data flows, contracts, and edge cases
  • Recommend what to integrate immediately versus later
  • Configure mortgage products, business rules, and customer journeys in the Oper platform
  • Validate configurations against agreed scope and acceptance testing
  • Lead training sessions for end users and customer champions
  • Support customers through go-live and early adoption, then hand over to Customer Success
  • Use AI tools to scaffold documentation, draft specifications, summarize workshops, accelerate analysis, and automate processes
  • Identify where AI compounds work and design workflows accordingly
  • Help develop an AI-native delivery function at Oper
  • Report to the Head of Customer Success and collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in consulting (Big-4, boutique strategy/tech, or implementation consulting)
  • Ability to structure messy customer conversations into clear documents, frameworks, and next steps
  • Enjoyment of customer and end-user interaction and workshops
  • Technical affinity, including reading API documentation, understanding integration patterns, and configuring software
  • No coding required, but willingness to engage with technical topics
  • AI-native use of modern AI tooling, workflows, and concrete examples of AI leverage
  • Action-oriented and able to get things done in ambiguous situations
  • Comfortable in a fast-growing, evolving SaaS environment
  • Fluent English required
  • Belgium-based for the hybrid setup
  • Availability to work CET hours
