About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and continuously improve employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and related HR operations
  • Manage benefits and leave administration and partner with brokers, carriers, and vendors
  • Oversee I-9 compliance, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, required training, and other compliance activities
  • Manage employee HR inquiries and provide timely, consistent support to employees and managers
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, documentation, employee resources, and the HR compliance calendar
  • Coordinate open enrollment, compliance activities, and employee communications
  • Establish operational controls and conduct routine audits to maintain accurate, compliant, audit-ready HR records and processes
  • Partner with the Senior HR Analyst on HRIS, data integrity, reporting, compensation processes, and HR technology initiatives
  • Develop employee and manager self-service resources
  • Own the People Operations continuous-improvement roadmap using AI, automation, and technology
  • Build scalable HR processes and measure improvements in efficiency, accuracy, service delivery, and employee experience
  • Assume additional People Operations responsibilities, including HR systems, reporting, analytics, or compensation administration as organizational needs evolve
  • Support Casepoint's HR operations for its U.S. workforce

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience with significant responsibility for HR operations
  • Strong experience with benefits, leave administration, employee lifecycle processes, and HR compliance
  • Hands-on HRIS experience and comfort working with HR data and reporting
  • Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment requirements
  • Strong organizational, project-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently identify problems and opportunities and drive solutions through completion
  • Continuous-improvement mindset and demonstrated ability to use AI, automation, and technology to improve processes and service delivery
  • Ability to balance day-to-day operational responsibilities with longer-term improvement initiatives
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Tysons, VA and attend occasional in-person meetings, team events, and collaborative working sessions
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
  • Experience with HR technology, automation, compensation, reporting, or workforce analytics preferred
  • Experience in a technology, SaaS, or professional-services environment preferred
