Associate Chief of Staff

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO by managing priorities, coordinating follow-through, and ensuring the CEO’s time remains focused on the highest-value opportunities and decisions
- Own follow-through on leadership commitments, decisions, and action items; ensure priorities have clear owners, deadlines, and next steps
- Serve as a liaison across departments to drive alignment, remove roadblocks, and keep critical initiatives moving toward completion
- Own high-priority initiatives from concept through execution, translating business objectives into clear plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes
- Turn broad, complex, or early-stage ideas into actionable plans through research, analysis, and stakeholder coordination
- Conduct ad hoc analyses, financial modeling, research, and quantitative work to evaluate opportunities and provide actionable executive insights
- Prepare key leadership meetings, capture decisions and action items, distribute concise recaps, and track commitments through completion
- Ensure relevant teams and stakeholders have the information, context, and clarity needed to execute effectively
- Identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient work that can be eliminated or automated; use AI and other technology to build practical solutions
- Lead ad hoc strategic projects including targeted research and analysis, financial modeling, internal initiatives, and expansion opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, project management, executive operations, or related discipline
- Experience working directly with senior executives or organizational leadership
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving outcomes without direct authority
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, establish priorities, track deliverables, and drive initiatives through completion
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with business data, building analyses, identifying trends, and using data to develop, validate, or challenge hypotheses
- Experience developing executive-level reporting, dashboards, presentations, or other materials used to inform business decisions
- Demonstrated proficiency with modern productivity, collaboration, data, and AI tools, with a track record of quickly learning and implementing new technologies
- Experience identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, or eliminate manual processes; hands-on experience using AI or automation tools to build or implement solutions
- Experience developing and implementing business processes, operating cadences, or systems that improve organizational efficiency and accountability
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
- Preferred: Experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or a similarly analytical, high-performance environment
- Preferred: Experience working in a PE-backed, high-growth, or rapidly scaling organization
- Preferred: Experience working with healthcare technology, SaaS or other technology enabled B2B businesses
