About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
Secure patients’ upfront payment, including helping patients identify payment avenues and directing them to financial assistance programs.
Support ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management, including following up on missing paperwork.
Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
Facilitate new patients’ transition to Option Care Health services and coordinate all aspects of their transition to home/AIS.
Work in conjunction with Sales to prepare patients for Option Care Health services.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of two years of experience in related experience required.
Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time.
Ability to work in a fast past environment.
Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus.
High degree of customer service skills required.
Ability to trouble shoot, problem solves and collaborate with cross-functional team members across sales and operation functions.
Previous healthcare/medical billing experience preferred.
