About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer Orange EV's primarily Microsoft-based IT environment
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Windows Server environments using Hyper-V
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and tenant configuration
  • Oversee LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, wireless, VPN, TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols
  • Support information-security and acceptable-use policies and related governance documents
  • Administer user accounts, groups, access permissions, least-privilege controls, onboarding/offboarding, and multi-factor authentication
  • Manage endpoint protection and patch/firmware compliance across user and server fleets
  • Lead the planned Microsoft Intune mobile-device-management rollout and own endpoint configuration/compliance policies
  • Support security-awareness programs, including phishing simulations and training-completion tracking
  • Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for account provisioning, reporting, and repetitive administrative tasks
  • Configure performance monitoring and alerting for servers and network equipment
  • Run routine backups, verify restore integrity, and support disaster-recovery testing and tabletop exercises
  • Serve as internal first responder for security incidents; coordinate escalation under the Incident Response Plan
  • Document incidents and remediation steps and support root-cause analysis
  • Maintain network diagrams, system documentation, and asset/hardware-lifecycle inventory
  • Support audits and customer security questionnaires with current documentation
  • Create and document IT Standard Operating Procedures
  • Support the Director of IT in managing MSPs, hardware manufacturers, and software vendors
  • Manage IT projects within budget, schedule, and scope; track milestones, deadlines, and expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer or information science-related field
  • 3–5+ years in systems/network administration in a primarily Microsoft environment
  • Meaningful exposure to security operations, monitoring, or incident response
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Deep working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, and Exchange/Microsoft 365 administration
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols
  • Experience configuring enterprise-grade firewalls and switches
  • Proficiency with PowerShell for Active Directory management and task automation
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) tools, ideally Microsoft
  • Strong virtualization background, including Hyper-V
  • Ability to work 100% on-site, 5 days/week
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Ability to work in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
  • Ideal: experience in a manufacturing or industrial-operations environment
  • Ideal: prior experience coordinating with an MSSP or MDR vendor
  • Ideal: familiarity with vulnerability management or security-awareness platforms
