About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop a strategic portfolio of infrastructure, water and sanitation, industrial, and distribution-channel customers
- Prospect for new customers, construction projects, and business opportunities
- Build long-term relationships with customers, distributors, water and sanitation companies, construction companies, contractors, designers, and market influencers
- Prepare account plans, commercial strategies, and action plans
- Plan schedules and conduct in-person sales visits, meetings, video conferences, and customer support by phone and email
- Identify technical and commercial needs and propose appropriate solutions
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, negotiating prices, timelines, contracts, and payment terms
- Follow up on proposals, orders, deliveries, and post-sales activities in collaboration with internal teams
- Record and update interactions, opportunities, proposals, sales forecasts, and next steps in the CRM
- Manage the sales pipeline, prepare sales forecasts, and analyze performance indicators
- Monitor the market, construction projects, trends, competitors, and expansion opportunities
- Identify cross-selling, product mix expansion, and upselling opportunities
- Support tenders, product approvals, major negotiations, and contract follow-up
- Monitor construction projects and identify opportunities
- Participate in trade shows, events, meetings, and training sessions
- Deliver commercial presentations and technical training to customers
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Technical, Customer Service, Logistics, Credit, Marketing, and other teams
- Meet sales, profitability, portfolio growth, and customer satisfaction targets

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in B2B sales and customer portfolio management
- Experience in prospecting and developing new business
- Experience in commercial negotiations and in-person customer relationship management
- Knowledge of sales pipeline management and CRM systems
- Ability to analyze commercial performance indicators and develop action plans
- Valid Category B driver’s license
- Willingness to travel
- Availability for frequent visits throughout São Paulo city and the metropolitan area, the Paraíba Valley, the southern coast, and Baixada Santista
- Commercial experience in infrastructure, water and sanitation, construction, industrial, or technical solutions sectors is a plus
- Experience with consultative sales of more complex products or solutions is a plus
- Experience working with water and sanitation companies, construction companies, contractors, distributors, resellers, designers, or public agencies is a plus
- Knowledge of distribution channels and the commercial dynamics of the infrastructure market is a plus
- Experience with tender processes, bid documents, public contracts, and product approval is a plus
- Experience monitoring construction projects and identifying opportunities within projects is a plus
- Ability to deliver presentations, technical training, and meetings with different stakeholders is a plus
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (BI) and PowerPoint, is a plus
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Business Management, Sales Management, Engineering, Service Management, or a related field is a plus
