About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Fulfill sub-contracts for quality assurance and data entry projects
  • Schedule study participants
  • Interview study participants according to project protocols
  • Enter survey responses into an online data repository
  • Work with the project manager on data management
  • Provide feedback on assigned projects
  • Arrange and conduct interviews remotely or in interviewees’ homes or community settings
  • Maintain organized schedules, interview records, and activity records for weekly reports
  • Attend supervision meetings and required onboarding activities at the OHSU campus
  • Attend mandatory remote and/or in-person training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's in relevant field AND 2 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of training and experience with individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines with paperwork
  • Phone, wireless internet, and email account for interviews and work-related forms
  • Ability to arrange and conduct interviews online or in the interviewee’s home or community setting
  • Ability to keep organized records for weekly reports
  • Ability to sit for up to 1 to 1.5 hours for interview sessions
  • Private area to conduct confidential interviews
  • Own computer with webcam and high-speed internet
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and PDF forms
  • Ability to enter data into a secure database
  • Ability to use or be trained to use iPhone and computer for interviews and data transfer
  • Reliable transportation or ability to drive to interview sites
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance when using own vehicle
  • Experience working with people with disabilities or having a family member with a disability preferred
  • High level of technical skill around data handling and interviewing preferred
  • Research experience preferred
