About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report to the District Business Manager
  • Drive product awareness and utilization
  • Achieve and exceed overall sales initiatives
  • Develop effective relationships and partner with physicians, staff, internal colleagues, and other pertinent parties within the defined territory

  • Engage physicians and targeted healthcare professionals to deliver clinically relevant information and exceed product goals while ensuring legal and compliance regulations
  • Use marketplace and reimbursement knowledge to prioritize opportunities
  • Apply direct selling techniques and market strategies to expand product demand
  • Navigate the changing healthcare environment using critical thinking and strategic planning to gain customer access
  • Coordinate and collaborate with field-based personnel to address customer needs
  • Use patient-focused clinical dialogue to engage healthcare office members and deliver customer service through total account management
  • Develop relationships and maintain an active presence in the dermatology community and associated organizations
  • Represent the company professionally, ethically, and compliantly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of two years of proven experience in a quota-driven role; preference given to dermatological, medical device, or specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Demonstration of sustained, high performance in current position and strong aptitude for learning
  • High sense of urgency, particularly regarding customer service orientation
  • Ability to travel as required by the specific territory
  • Ability to thrive in a highly driven, performance-based, fast-paced, results-oriented culture
  • Candidate must live in the New York state portion of the territory
  • Must be a US or Puerto Rico resident
  • No visa sponsorship
  • Ability to satisfy applicable travel and credentialing requirements, including associated vaccination prerequisites
  • Ability to travel 50%
