About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support customers with clinical information about company products, education, and clinical training programs
  • Partner with customers to address needs, educate stakeholders, and drive results aligned with company goals
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers across the assigned Western Iowa geography
  • Call on healthcare providers, healthcare organizations, clinics, hospitals, health departments, universities, and other healthcare locations
  • Collaborate with Women’s Health Account Executives, Payer Account Executives, National Account Executives, Government Affairs Executives, and extended team members
  • Deliver balanced product sales presentations in accordance with product labeling and professional society recommendations
  • Provide accurate technical and clinical product information to support proper utilization
  • Communicate about managed care and reimbursement environments
  • Build and maintain customer partnerships
  • Provide management updates on customer needs, feedback, marketplace dynamics, and quality-goal progress
  • Manage complex account interdependencies and develop account plans
  • Conduct product in-services and routine account business reviews
  • Monitor business performance, competitive activity, and market trends using company tools
  • Develop and execute territory and account business plans
  • Maintain product and ecosystem knowledge and certification
  • Complete administrative requirements accurately and on time
  • Act as primary contact within select accounts, understand account structures and patient needs, identify business opportunities, and support stakeholders
  • Support procurement pathways including Buy and Bill, Assignment of Benefits, and 340B
  • Coordinate customer strategies with the extended customer team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree with at least two years of sales experience OR 6+ years of equivalent experience
  • Equivalent experience may include professional sales, healthcare/scientific work, professional marketing, or military experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in current or previous professional roles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze metrics to assess progress against objectives
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • Willingness to complete credentialing requirements for in-person account access
  • Must reside in the Western Iowa area
  • US and PR residents only
  • No visa sponsorship
  • Must satisfy applicable travel and credentialing requirements, including associated vaccination prerequisites
  • Preferred: BA/BS degree with at least six years of sales experience OR 10+ years of equivalent experience, with at least 4 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries
  • Preferred: Previous sales, account management, consultative, or customer service experience
  • Preferred: Buy and Bill experience
  • Preferred: Experience in women's health industry
