About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and deliver high-impact features, owning the full lifecycle from framing the user problem with the PM and designer through post-launch monitoring and measuring results
Contribute to defining frontend best practices with the Frontend Core Team and ensure they are followed day to day through code reviews, standards, and tools
Maintain and evolve the tech stack, including performance, technical debt, and upgrades
Contribute to cross-functional Working Groups
Participate in and contribute to team rituals, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and demos
Share knowledge within the team
Use AI to accelerate your work and develop practical use cases
Build the interfaces for Ornikar’s React Native mobile applications and React web interfaces, helping revolutionize driver’s license and driving education

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 4 years of experience in frontend development
Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
Experience with React Native
For senior positions: strong understanding of the application lifecycle, particularly architecture, app store releases, and code reviews
High standards for code quality: readable, testable, and maintainable code
Ability to adapt a testing strategy to the project context
Experience working on a consumer-facing (B2C) product, ideally a high-traffic product
Ability to understand user pain points, identify business challenges, and act accordingly
Comfortable speaking up within a team and sharing knowledge
Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) and personal experimentation with these tools
