About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help scope product and business needs with Product Managers and Business Owners
Turn business needs into data opportunities
Develop tools and applications using Python scripts, Django back offices, and FastAPI microservices
Design and integrate AI components using LLMs and machine learning models
Automate practical tasks such as lead scoring, OCR-based information extraction, and decision support
Support projects from experimentation through production deployment
Analyze data to identify growth levers
Provide actionable recommendations to Product and Business teams
Document and explain technical work in accessible terms for non-technical teams
Work cross-functionally with all Business Units
Receive guidance from a senior member of the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in an engineering school or pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or an equivalent program
Seeking a final-year internship of at least 6 months or a work-study placement
Proficient in Python, with experience developing applications or services beyond simple scripts
Able to structure readable, maintainable code
Comfortable using Git and familiar with code review principles
Able to query SQL databases, write readable queries, and derive actionable insights from them
Strong interest in AI and eagerness to integrate AI tools into concrete projects
Curious and eager to develop new skills
Understanding of business challenges and a desire to understand the “why” behind every request
Team-oriented, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical professionals
Experience with Django or FastAPI is a plus
Experience with PostgreSQL or BigQuery is a plus
