Key responsibilities & impact

Run complex onboardings end to end: scoping, configuration, data integration, key-user training, go-live and documented handover to Customer Success
Own effort and budget; estimate realistically, monitor booked hours, and trigger follow-up sales with Customer Success and Sales when overconsumption is likely
Build onboarding packages, checklists and self-service content for standard use cases
Use Solution Expert enablement material consistently
Review project plans and configurations from junior consultants
Coach the team and provide feedback for the skill matrix
Handle difficult customer situations
Escalate genuine edge cases and communicate recurring questions and product gaps to the Solution Expert
Build relationships with decision-makers and document stakeholder maps for handover to Customer Success
Role allocation: 70% own customer onboardings, 15% coaching and review, 10% standardisation, 5% Solution Expert collaboration

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of project experience in SaaS implementation or consulting in carbon accounting or sustainability reporting — with full responsibility for the customer, not just a workstream
Practical GHG accounting knowledge: GHG Protocol, Scope 1–3, emission factor selection, and the difference between a defensible footprint and a fast one
Familiarity with the reporting context — CSRD / ESRS E1, and ideally CBAM or product carbon footprints
Solid understanding of data models, interfaces and configuration — no coding required
Experience integrating ERP, energy or logistics data is a strong plus
Instinct to standardise recurring work into packages
Budget and scope discipline, including clearly stating engagement limits to customers
Fluent English
German or Spanish is a plus
Some travel below 10%; onboardings run largely remote
