About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in a rotational program learning all areas of JLG's sales team
  • Rotate through Inside Sales, Field Aftermarket and Whole Goods Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing
  • Enter orders and handle customer calls with the inside sales team
  • Act as an inter-department liaison coordinating essential company activities for the sales team
  • Partner with sales team members on customer and regional needs or trends
  • Enter customer information and configure machines to meet current and future customer demands
  • Analyze regional sales and order book entries to support forecasting
  • Handle assigned administrative tasks
  • Visit customers and build relationships, comprising 50% of the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Ability to travel 50–70%
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Ability to work independently and within a team structured environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other web-based software applications
  • Strong customer focus and effective use of a consultative approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing
  • Located close to a major airport
  • Ability to perform office, field, and production-environment duties, including moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels
  • U.S. Person status may be required for certain positions involving controlled goods and technologies
