About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete a rotational program across Inside Sales, Field Aftermarket and Whole Goods Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing
  • Learn all areas of the JLG sales team
  • Spend 50% of the role visiting and building relationships with customers
  • Work with the inside sales team to enter orders and handle customer calls
  • Act as an inter-department liaison coordinating company activities for the sales team
  • Partner with sales team members on customer and regional needs or trends
  • Partner with sales representatives to enter customer information and configure machines for customer demands
  • Analyze regional sales and order book entries to support forecasting
  • Handle assigned administrative tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors degree in business or a related field
  • Ability to travel 50-70%
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Ability to work independently and within a team structured environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Strong customer focus and effective use of a consultative approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing
  • Located close to a major airport
  • Ability to perform office-based administrative duties and physical activity in field or production environments
  • Ability to walk across various terrains or shop floors, stand, moderately lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and work in varying temperatures or noise levels
  • Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks
  • Must be a U.S. Person for positions requiring access to controlled goods and technologies under ITAR/EAR regulations
