About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshoot the root cause of technical issues on JLG, Hinowa, and AUSA equipment, including telehandlers and aerial work platforms
- Identify necessary actions to resolve equipment issues
- Support internal and external customers via phone, email, face-to-face, or other communication media
- Assist with repairs and provide guidance on equipment overhaul in the field through the contact center
- Provide mentor-level guidance to associate Technical Support Specialists
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and internal departments
- Communicate service field bulletins, information notices, and product updates
- Develop and maintain a knowledge database for customer self-help and self-diagnostic support
- Lead, schedule, and coordinate team training meetings
- Generate and analyze system data to guide repair efforts
- Participate in New Product Development teams as a service representative and review engineering change notices
- Collaborate in continuous internal and external training efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or its equivalent with five (5) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Five (5) or more years of experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willing to travel in Europe
- Associate’s degree in the field or a related area preferred
- Experience with contact center or hands on equipment repair work preferred
- Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment preferred
- Strong problem solving proficiency preferred
- Very detail oriented preferred
