About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain understanding of business strategy, store sales targets, and financial targets
  • Support store strategy and annual action planning
  • Track and communicate daily store sales and KPIs, review business and product reports, and recommend actions
  • Monitor controllable expenses and support monthly profit and loss reviews
  • Partner with the Store Manager on recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Foster team engagement, learning, and development; deliver training on responsibilities, policies, procedures, POS transactions, and cash management
  • Execute clientele programs, CRM standards, customer database growth, client follow-up, and customer issue resolution
  • Manage daily store operations, logistics, stock flow, inventory control, floor readiness, POS transactions, cash handling, banking, and opening/closing procedures
  • Draft store schedules, monitor floor coverage, and operate within headcount and payroll budgets
  • Execute merchandising and visual presentation standards; monitor product performance and partner with visual staff to maximize sales
  • Assume responsibility for store operations, team leadership, and business results during the Store Manager’s absence
  • Report to the Store Manager and coordinate with headquarters/regional merchandising, HR, operations, and marketing partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management or related role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience in retail, luxury retail, or a service-oriented organization preferred
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts as needed
  • Previous client book preferred
  • Financial management experience
  • Ethical conduct and ability to lead by example
  • Learning orientation and ability to train and teach
  • Performance management experience
  • Leadership skills and comfort having difficult conversations
  • Elevated market awareness and networking skills
