About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own store business results and deliver sales and profitability targets
  • Bring the Jil Sander brand identity to life in client interactions
  • Lead commercial results, client development, team leadership, visual and operational standards, and compliance
  • Build the store strategy and annual action plan
  • Communicate and track store sales and KPIs
  • Review profit and loss reports and develop expense-control action plans
  • Monitor and control expense budgets
  • Analyze business and product reporting daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Recruit, develop, and manage performance of the store team
  • Foster engagement, learning, and team development
  • Train staff on responsibilities, policies, procedures, customer service, POS transactions, and cash management
  • Lead clientele programs and develop the customer database
  • Ensure CRM execution within company standards
  • Resolve customer issues
  • Execute daily store operations, including logistics, stock flow, inventory control, and floor readiness
  • Maintain store organization, cleanliness, and operational standards
  • Ensure accurate POS transactions, cash handling, banking, and accounting compliance
  • Manage schedules, store headcount, payroll budgets, and floor coverage
  • Lead merchandise standards, best-seller and slow-seller performance, and visual presentation
  • Partner with headquarters, regional teams, merchandising, HR, operations, marketing, and visual associates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management or related role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience in retail, luxury retail or service-oriented organization preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts as needed
  • Previous client book preferred
  • Financial Management experience
  • Ethical conduct must lead by example
  • Learning Orientation and ability to train and teach
  • Performance Management
  • Leadership, comfortable having difficult conversations
