About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the integrated annual brand plan and branded HCP strategy and execution system
  • Lead product positioning, HCP segmentation, claims strategy, and branded HCP launch asset development before approval
  • Own branded HCP strategy, content, promotion, peer-to-peer programs, congresses, field tools, budget, and performance after approval
  • Lead branded HCP execution through launch and lifecycle, updating messages as data and labeling evolve
  • Develop brand positioning, launch narrative, and claims strategy across label scenarios
  • Define HCP audience segmentation and engagement strategy for specialists and referring clinicians
  • Direct agency-of-record branded workstreams and manage the branded asset pipeline through MLR review
  • Build product and HCP digital experiences, including websites, CRM programs, and media plans
  • Develop field launch tools and readiness materials
  • Lead annual brand planning, budget recommendations, agency direction, HCP promotion, and coordinated channel execution
  • Optimize performance using channel and engagement analytics
  • Partner with TLL, Account Managers, Medical Affairs, Market Access, HEOR, Regulatory, Legal, and cross-functional launch teams
  • Translate branded HCP priorities into integrated channel plans, data and technology requirements, execution roadmaps, and performance measures
  • Co-lead the advertising Agency of Record relationship
  • Lead congress strategy, budget, and execution
  • Lead branded HCP peer-to-peer programs following approval
  • Represent branded HCP strategy in cross-functional launch planning and coordinate priorities across functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10–12 years of commercial experience in the US pharmaceutical industry
  • Expertise in HCP marketing, new product launches, access, and market analysis
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and business partnering abilities
  • Prior rare disease commercialization experience required
  • Neurology, neuromuscular, or genetically defined population experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated pre-launch and launch leadership, including brand building before approval and within pre-approval promotional boundaries
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing strategy, agency management, market research, and forecasting
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
  • Up to 30% travel based on business needs
