About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute the annual business plans for the product segment in the US
  • Coordinate activities to maximize effectiveness and align with marketing, sales, and PCS
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with industry leaders and key customers
  • Maintain consistent and open communication with sales, marketing, and PCS
  • Achieve performance goals and strategic objectives
  • Complete intensive training programs to achieve technical proficiency on Ottobock orthotics technology
  • Promote Ottobock products to practitioners and business owners through customer visits, sales literature, and product demonstrations
  • Collaborate with marketing to support marketing and brand strategies
  • Facilitate training and in-service presentations for practitioners and referral sources in clinical settings
  • Partner with PCS to educate healthcare professionals and conduct presentations
  • Analyze customer information to identify and monitor trends, competitor data, and sales opportunities
  • Participate in local and regional industry meetings and trade shows
  • Use email and voicemail daily with a 24-hour response time
  • Complete assigned tasks by specified deadlines, including monthly reports, expense accounts, and other management-requested reports
  • Identify opportunities to assist customers and direct them to qualified Ottobock personnel for troubleshooting equipment and diagnosing problems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in health sciences, business management, or other related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years commission-based sales experience conducting sales calls on medical professionals in both clinical and institutional settings
  • Experience in organizing and facilitating customer training sessions and workshop seminars
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills – ability to work independently
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Strong PC skills (Salesforce, MSOffice, Outlook)
  • Up to 70% overnight travel expected
  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must live in one of the territory states - NC, SC, GA, AL, FL, VA, MD, DC
  • Atlanta is preferred within the territory
