Key responsibilities & impact

Set the technical direction and own architecture for the agentic development pipeline, including orchestration, context management and tool calling
Improve pipeline reliability, throughput, cost and developer experience across mobile, backend and web repositories
Extend agentic workflows across specification, testing, automated review, CI failure repair, release verification and post-deploy monitoring
Prototype workflows quickly, validate them on real tickets and squads, and harden successful solutions into production infrastructure
Own evaluation sets, LLM-as-a-judge grading, versioning, tracing, dashboards and production metrics
Design sandboxing, permissions, human checkpoints and risk-based guardrails with privacy by design
Lead AI-native engineering practices and raise engineering standards
Drive adoption by embedding with squads and creating paved paths, skills, templates and documentation
Partner with platform, developer productivity, security and privacy, AI infrastructure, mobile, backend, product, design and engineering leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years building and operating production systems that other engineers depend on, including developer tooling, internal platforms, or AI infrastructure at scale
Built and operated agentic coding workflows or autonomous loops in a real engineering organization, with adoption and measured results
Understanding of specification, review, testing, CI/CD, release and operations as one system
Ability to set technical direction across teams, write designs, and make architecture and risk decisions
Strong fundamentals in mobile domain or backend APIs, concurrency, distributed systems, testing, debugging and reliability
Fluency in one domain of backend, iOS, or Android, with a stretch into others
Understanding of security and privacy responsibilities when handling sensitive personal data and giving agents access to real systems
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and shape requirements through experimentation
Clear communication and collaborative, resilient working style
