About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support statutory and management reporting, tax compliance, and financial control across listed property funds in Australia and New Zealand
  • Manage financial control of listed structures
  • Prepare deliverables for listed financial reporting
  • Work with Industrial, Commercial, and Data Centre asset classes
  • Support Investor Relations, including investor reports for listed entities
  • Prepare budgets and rolling forecasts, including reviewing and consolidating property commentary
  • Manage external audits
  • Prepare and review GST, PAYG, and annual income tax calculations
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, month-end journals, and monthly management reporting
  • Manage fund-level middle- and back-office treasury operations, including treasury systems, funding, and covenant management
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members
  • Support monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reporting processes
  • Liaise with stakeholders across business units to identify and implement workflow improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expert knowledge of Corporate Reporting
  • Preferably CA qualified
  • Commercial, corporate, or property fund experience
  • Big 4 experience prior to commercial roles is well regarded
  • Experience in property and funds management is well regarded
  • Experience with OneSource Accounts Production for financial statements
  • Experience with MRI property management system
  • Property experience
  • Willingness to learn and flexibility for different tasks
  • Ability to work independently and utilize initiative
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Experience with financial reporting, tax, budgeting, and forecasting
