About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the clinical excellence managers in the Midwest region through account management and customer success
- Foster relationships with the clinical excellence team and partner with customers to ensure high standards of patient care
- Participate in the sales process with the sales team to support long-range planning
- Develop and implement processes and structures that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with departments to support strategic objectives
- Collaborate with the capital sales team to expand partial footprints
- Support sales for new and expansion opportunities through customer education, implementation, adoption, use, and customer success
- Provide education, documentation, product-related input, implementation support, and best-practice guidance without making customer clinical or operational decisions
- Ensure routine and quality customer business reviews
- Provide in-person and virtual support to customers, partners, and Outset team members
- Assist with business, clinical, operational, and financial action planning
- Advance strategic priorities with key stakeholders
- Participate in policy and procedure creation to support high-quality patient care
- Develop team skills, drive refresh strategy, and lead transitions for problem accounts
- Collaborate with marketing, clinical, service, commercial, and Sales Effectiveness teams
- Manage relationships with healthcare providers, professional organizations, regulatory agencies, and external vendors
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Lead and coach the clinical excellence team and support career development
- Serve as the point of contact for customer escalations and issues
- Track and communicate team priorities, metrics, and successes
- Develop clinical strategies to expand medical-device utilization and support training for successful implementation and use
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- 2+ years of nursing leadership experience in a healthcare or medical device setting
- Proficiency in compliance regulations and standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in developing a business plan and financial models
- Deep understanding of the health system accreditation process
- Strong process and quality improvement background
- Competence translating data and analytics into action plans
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
- Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75%
- Candidates should be based within the Midwest region with convenient access to a major airport
- Desired: functional knowledge of dialysis or other relevant medical technologies
- Desired: experience in or collaboration with the medical device industry
- Desired: MSN or MBA; DNP
- Advanced certifications in nursing or related fields preferred
- Preferred certifications include CNE, NEA-BC, CPHQ, CNL, CMSRN, and CCRN
