About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure high availability, resiliency, quality, and efficiency of Cloud Edge Services
Develop tools and infrastructure to deploy, monitor, and manage production and non-production services
Leverage AI and automation tools to improve development efficiency, infrastructure management, and incident response
Optimize solutions for quality, ease of use, reusability, and scalability
Produce complete knowledge base documentation covering testing, design details, usage, maintenance, configuration, and deployment notes
Work within an agile framework
Participate in a predictable, rotating week-long on-call schedule with team support and flexible shift coverage

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of software development experience
Proficiency with Golang and/or Python
4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering environment
2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker
2+ years of experience with Terraform
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and practices
Experience with Content Delivery Networks and Service Mesh technologies
Ability to collaborate with teammates working around the globe
Practical, collaborative approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn
Istio Service Mesh experience, CDN experience, Kubernetes Ingress Controller/API Gateway experience, and Kubernetes Operators experience are advantageous
