About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the company's multi-state regulatory licensing portfolio, including industry-specific licenses and registrations
  • Track and maintain compliance with state healthcare and business regulatory requirements
  • Monitor changes in applicable state laws and regulations affecting licensing obligations
  • Maintain a centralized compliance calendar for licensing, registration, and regulatory filing deadlines
  • Prepare, file, and track regulatory submissions with state agencies and boards
  • Manage correspondence and follow-up with regulators
  • Support data protection and healthcare compliance programs, including HIPAA and HITRUST documentation, evidence, and audit readiness
  • Maintain corporate good standing across states through annual reports, franchise tax filings, foreign qualifications, and good-standing certificates
  • Support organization-wide contract management processes
  • Prepare board and stockholder consents, resolutions, and related corporate governance documentation
  • Coordinate board and committee meeting logistics, including scheduling, notices, and quorum tracking
  • Manage entity formation, qualification, dissolution, and conversion filings across domestic and international jurisdictions
  • Monitor and manage registered agent services
  • Support special projects and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in a compliance, regulatory, or corporate paralegal role with experience with US corporations
  • Demonstrated experience managing global and multi-state licensing, registrations, and/or corporate good-standing obligations at scale
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and entity maintenance requirements
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with a proven ability to manage a high volume of deadlines across many jurisdictions independently
  • Track record of researching state laws and drafting compliant policies and procedures with operational stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication and comfort corresponding directly with state agencies and regulators
  • Must provide required application materials, including resume, phone number, LinkedIn profile, and country of residence
  • Must be located in Egypt, the Philippines, or Pakistan
