About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Authorize or deny predeterminations and claims by reviewing radiographs and/or other supporting documentation in accordance with member plan benefits
- Use Overjet’s dental AI technology to support claims review decision making
- Evaluate appeals and request additional information
- Make revised claim decisions and further recommendations
- Communicate claim review outcomes to participating dentists and plan members
- Participate in training and calibration sessions
- Provide regular feedback to improve claims review productivity and accuracy
Requirements
What you’ll need- D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school
- Board certification in Periodontics
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Prior claims review experience strongly preferred (2+ years)
- Active, unrestricted dental license in the state of Florida
- Proficiency with CDT codes and dental procedures
- Strong computer skills and comfort with remote platforms (e.g., Zoom)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
