About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of customers
- Coordinate and organize air, sea, road, and rail transport
- Advise customers and proactively resolve issues
- Respond to customer requests for quotations and plan international transport by sea, air, and rail
- Improve processes between quotation, operations, and invoicing
- Participate in invoicing transport files
- Explain discrepancies between quotations and billing to customers
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiations with carriers and agents worldwide
- Develop team knowledge through research and article production
- Refine operational strategies
- Coordinate international transport operations and manage agents, shipping and trucking carriers, and customs brokers
- Keep clients informed about shipment progress and key stages
- Guide clients through challenges and provide solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Speak and write French fluently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoyment of human contact
- Ability to manage stress in an intense, deadline-driven environment
- Organizational skills and rigor in monitoring accounts
