About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage U.S. international income tax provision and compliance processes
  • Provide quantitative tax modeling and analysis for tax planning, M&A, treasury projects, legal entity restructurings, and business initiatives
  • Develop and maintain models evaluating cash tax, effective tax rate, and tax attribute impacts
  • Support foreign tax credit utilization, repatriation planning, cash tax forecasting, and related scenarios
  • Assist with quantitative due diligence and integration activities for acquisitions and divestitures
  • Support U.S. federal and international tax audits and examinations
  • Prepare and review audit responses, supporting schedules, and documentation requests
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors on audit defense
  • Lead quarterly and annual U.S. international tax provision processes under ASC 740
  • Manage GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credit, foreign-source income, and other U.S. international provision calculations and reporting
  • Coordinate data collection and maintain provision models, workpapers, documentation, and internal controls
  • Manage U.S. international tax compliance with support from an outside service provider
  • Oversee international components of U.S. federal income tax returns, information returns, and disclosures
  • Maintain methodologies and tracking tools for foreign tax credits, earnings and profits, tax basis, previously taxed earnings and profits, and other tax attributes
  • Improve compliance workpapers through automation, standardization, documentation, and stronger data controls
  • Support transfer pricing policies, domestic federal and state tax provision and compliance, tax research, process improvement initiatives, and special projects
  • Build relationships across tax, finance, treasury, legal, accounting, business teams, and external advisors
  • Stay current on U.S. tax developments and global tax trends
  • Coach and mentor tax professionals and create development opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, a corporate tax department, or a combination of both
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or significant project leadership experience
  • Experience with tax compliance and provision software, tax research tools, and enterprise financial systems
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally approximately 5% to 10%
  • Advanced understanding of U.S. international tax concepts, including GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, Subpart F, and related provisions
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including complex tax calculations, financial modeling, and data-driven decision support
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets and complex models
  • Ability to leverage data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve tax reporting, compliance, planning, and operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and adoption of new technologies
  • Familiarity with OneSource, CorpTax, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, Orbitax, SAP, BPC, and KPMG International Tax Reform Analyzer (ITRA) strongly preferred
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to translate tax analysis into actionable business insights
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across functions, business units, and geographic regions
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing concepts is a plus
  • High level of integrity, accountability, professional judgment, and attention to detail
