Lead, grow and mentor a team of senior backend engineers
Write production code and participate in design and code reviews
Own architecture and design decisions for an agentic pentest platform involving AI agents, task orchestration and scanning at scale
Work with Product and customers to turn requirements into technical plans and deliver them with high quality
Set engineering standards for a new product built in an AI-first way

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years leading backend engineering teams, with direct management of 3+ engineers
8+ years in backend engineering, including senior-level roles
Proven experience in security or agentic AI systems (must): cybersecurity product company or security/pentest firm experience, or hands-on production AI agent development beyond AI coding tools
Hands-on experience with Node.js/TypeScript or another high-level backend language
Proven ability to guide architecture and technical decisions for complex systems
Strong ownership, independence and stakeholder management
Excellent English
Daily, hands-on use of AI tools in engineering work
Nice to have: offensive security background including pentesting, DAST, vulnerability scanning, red-team or attack-simulation tooling
Nice to have: experience with both security and agentic AI
Nice to have: experience leading a team on a 0→1 product
