About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a multi-year growth strategy for the Ambulatory, Rural, & Tribal Health portfolio
  • Maintain understanding of rural, ambulatory, and tribal health priorities, funding, procurement, competitors, and community needs
  • Anticipate shifts in care delivery, technology, funding, and policy
  • Develop market-entry plans for priority states, provider segments, tribal health organizations, and regional networks
  • Translate S&P's capabilities, past performance, relationships, and delivery experience into differentiated customer approaches
  • Represent S&P in senior customer engagements, industry associations, conferences, rural healthcare collaboratives, tribal health forums, and partner forums
  • Advise the Chief Growth Officer and executive leadership team on opportunities, risks, capabilities, and investments
  • Build relationships with healthcare executives, state agencies, provider organizations, tribal health leaders, technology vendors, and partners
  • Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities aligned with S&P's strategy and capabilities
  • Guide early opportunity strategy, including solution direction, customer engagement, competitive positioning, win themes, and partner approach
  • Develop partnership models across providers, community and tribal organizations, technology companies, and regional partners
  • Partner with the Head of Capture on market context, customer insight, competitive intelligence, and partner strategy
  • Identify portfolio expansion opportunities including Oracle Health CommunityWorks, EHR models, interoperability, digital health, virtual care, analytics, cybersecurity, and workflow improvement
  • Recommend services, partnerships, and investments, including repeatable offerings that solve local problems
  • Work with Service Delivery to develop practical offerings for community healthcare environments
  • Bring new offerings to market, secure initial customers, and build growth without compromising delivery quality or customer trust
  • Own bookings, revenue, pipeline, and market expansion objectives
  • Monitor opportunity progression, pipeline quality, forecasts, win rates, and business performance
  • Report clearly to executive leadership
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, and investment decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of senior-level growth leadership, business development, and/or capture experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, consulting, digital health, or related professional services
  • Broad experience selling and delivering health IT, healthcare transformation, implementation, optimization, digital health, or related professional services
  • Oracle Health expertise, including familiarity with CommunityWorks, is a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated record of originating and winning complex opportunities, opening new markets, expanding market position, and producing measurable revenue growth
  • Experience using customer and market insight to shape new offerings and build sustainable growth beyond individual pursuits
  • Credibility across healthcare delivery and health IT, with relationships in one or more relevant provider, technology, state, tribal, rural, ambulatory, or community health markets
  • Ability to build new relationships across relevant markets
  • Creative, forward-looking approach to market development
  • Curiosity and persistence to uncover unmet needs, build unconventional partnerships, and develop opportunities where the path is not yet established
  • Strong executive presence and sound judgment
