About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage commercial real estate assets strategically in line with the defined investment strategy
- Develop and implement asset strategies and business plans to increase property value
- Conduct macro- and micro-market analyses, identify trends, and perform SWOT analyses
- Prepare hold/sell analyses and derive strategic recommendations
- Initiate and support acquisition and disposition processes
- Monitor and manage risks across the asset portfolio
- Optimize income and expenses, including NOI, GRI, and NAV, and create financial forecasts
- Plan budgets and conduct ongoing budget-versus-actuals analysis
- Value properties, including deriving estimated rental values (ERVs)
- Negotiate leases, including re-leasing and prolongations, for yield optimization
- Maintain and develop tenant relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term occupancy
- Collaborate with legal and tax advisors on property-related issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant ESG, legal, and tax regulations
- Collaborate closely with Property Management, Transaction Management, Technical Teams, and Controlling
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in real estate management, business administration, finance, or a related field (e.g. Real Estate Economist)
- Several years of experience in asset management of commercial real estate, ideally in the logistics sector
- Strong expertise in property valuation, budgeting, and business plan development
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Confident, persuasive demeanor with strong negotiation skills
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
- Team player with excellent communication skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with analytical/reporting tools
- Experience with real estate ERP systems (e.g. Yardi, SAP RE)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
