About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Onboard new clients and provide training and resources on products and services.
- Set up initial client profiles and data accurately in LIMS.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships and serve as the primary contact for inquiries and issues.
- Conduct regular client check-ins and ensure satisfaction.
- Resolve client concerns and coordinate with lab departments on work completion and problem resolution.
- Provide ongoing client education and training.
- Monitor client health, address churn risks, and develop client retention and contract renewal strategies.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and communicate them to sales and operations.
- Plan project timing with laboratory teams, sales, and clients.
- Ensure correct project setup in LIMS, accurate pricing, and communication of project details.
- Identify and resolve project issues.
- Review deliverables for quality standards and client requirements.
- Manage client feedback and support continuous improvement.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports covering progress, risks, and issues.
- Conduct project closure, confirm final deliverables and client satisfaction, support invoicing and payment needs, and evaluate project success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project outcomes with client objectives.
- Contribute suggestions and participate actively in work teams.
- Promote Pace's mission and a courteous, cooperative workplace.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business administration, chemistry, biology, or a closely related field; AND two (2) years of customer service experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- No required certificates, licenses, or registrations.
- Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of customer service.
- Knowledge of applicable industry laws, codes, and regulations.
- Knowledge of computer applications and systems related to the work.
- Understanding of dealing with individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, including potentially confrontational or strained relations.
- Knowledge of effective oral presentations.
- Knowledge of program planning, development, and evaluation.
- Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ability to perform professional-level customer service in a variety of markets.
- Ability to train others in relevant policies and procedures.
- Ability to interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to prepare functional reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within organizational and department guidelines.
- Ability to use tact, discretion, and prudence in professional interactions.
- Ability to perform effective oral presentations to large and small groups.
- Ability to contribute effectively to team or work unit goals and activities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to work in an office setting and use standard office equipment.
