About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive shipments of samples
- Unpack sample coolers
- Verify samples against customer paperwork
- Log samples into the company system
- Work in the sample receiving department of an environmental testing laboratory
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong preference for previous customer service, shipping, or warehouse experience
- Ability to work in a laboratory or office setting
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to work around strong odors
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Laboratory or environmental testing experience preferred but not required
- Availability for 10:00 AM–7:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM–12:00 PM every third Saturday
