About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clinical expertise and support to community Health and Wellness Directors and healthcare staff
- Conduct regular site visits to assess clinical operations, resident care, and regulatory compliance
- Monitor resident assessments, care plans, and documentation
- Provide guidance on complex clinical issues, medication management, and care coordination
- Ensure implementation of company clinical policies, procedures, and best practices across the region
- Ensure communities comply with federal, state, and local resident-care regulations
- Conduct audits of resident records, medication administration, and clinical processes
- Assist with regulatory surveys and inspections
- Identify clinical-care improvements and implement strategies to improve outcomes
- Provide education and training on clinical best practices, regulations, and company policies
- Develop and implement regional training programs
- Ensure staff maintain required certifications and licenses
- Champion resident-centered care, dignity, independence, and choice
- Monitor resident satisfaction and enhance the resident experience
- Address resident and family concerns related to clinical care
- Coordinate residents' healthcare needs with physicians and healthcare providers
- Lead, mentor, and coach Health and Wellness Directors
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of clinical staff
- Collaborate with regional leaders on clinical and operational goals

Requirements
What you’ll need- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, valid license in the state[s] of practice
- 5 to 10 years of experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care, with progressive clinical leadership experience
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to senior living and resident care
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, care planning, and medication management
- Strong leadership, management, and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant technology
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region on a regular basis
- Ability to regularly stand and walk for extended periods; frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach; and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Strong manual dexterity for medication administration and charting
- Clear verbal communication, acute vision for close tasks and safety, and ability to hear alarms and instructions
- Quick mobility for emergency response throughout the facility
