About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain written policies and procedures governing release of information concerning residents, employees, and/or the facility in accordance with current Privacy Rules and Regulations
  • Assist the Administrator and department directors in developing and using marketing and public relations policies and procedures
  • Establish rapport in and between departments to reinforce each staff member’s role in marketing and public relations programs
  • Develop, organize, implement, evaluate, educate, and direct the facility’s public relations and marketing programs and activities
  • Maintain and increase the facility’s census by providing the community with information about the facility’s programs, services, and practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or public relations, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer
  • Frequent use of office equipment including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator
