About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain written policies and procedures governing the release of information concerning residents, employees, and/or the facility in accordance with current Privacy Rules and Regulations
- Assist the Administrator and department directors in developing and using marketing and public relations policies and procedures
- Establish rapport between departments to promote each staff member’s role in marketing and public relations programs
- Develop, organize, implement, evaluate, educate, and direct the facility’s public relations and marketing programs and activities
- Maintain and increase the facility’s census by providing the community with information about the facility’s programs, services, and practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or public relations, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, and hear
- Frequent use of office equipment including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator
