About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define offerings, bundles, service models, requirements, positioning, pricing, and roadmaps.
- Develop business cases for new products, services, and partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.
- Support the development of commercial models, including CAPEX, subscription, and as-a-service offerings.
- Develop offerings focused on generating recurring revenue (ARR).
- Manage the lifecycle of solutions and their technological and commercial evolution.
- Coordinate PoCs, certifications, and reference projects.
- Work with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities.
- Conduct technical meetings and discovery workshops with customers.
- Translate business needs into technical architectures and solutions.
- Design solutions integrating different technologies and vendors.
- Prepare high-level architectures, sizing estimates, BOMs/BoQs, and technical scopes.
- Support proposals, RFPs/RFQs, technical presentations, and solution defense before customers.
- Initially serve as the primary Solution Architecture / Pre-Sales reference for the new business unit.
- Develop and maintain technical and commercial relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and partners.
- Evaluate new technologies and potential partners for inclusion in the portfolio.
- Technically coordinate the integration of solutions from different manufacturers.
- Negotiate technical requirements, roadmaps, support models, and the conditions necessary to develop offerings.
- Identify opportunities for the joint development of solutions and services.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Advanced Spanish proficiency.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing, including IaaS, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and Public Cloud.
- Knowledge of virtualization and containers.
- Knowledge of servers and computing infrastructure.
- Knowledge of storage and data protection.
- Knowledge of backup, BaaS, disaster recovery, and DRaaS.
- Knowledge of networking, including Ethernet/IP, switching, and routing.
- Knowledge of Data Center Interconnect (DCI).
- Knowledge of Edge Computing and data center infrastructure.
- Knowledge of managed services, monitoring, and IT environment operations.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity applied to cloud and data center environments.
- Knowledge of DWDM and optical networks is a plus but not required.
