About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development of highly complex electronic boards, from requirements analysis through release for manufacturing and assembly
  • Develop and review schematics and layouts in Altium Designer, including stackup, component placement, controlled impedances, power delivery, grounding, and critical signal routing
  • Apply signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal management, and noise-reduction practices
  • Review libraries, bills of materials, and other deliverables to ensure project quality and technical consistency
  • Prepare and verify manufacturing and assembly files, taking DFM, DFA, and supplier capabilities into account
  • Plan and execute prototype bring-up, integration, testing, and debugging, investigating failures and proposing solutions
  • Support product evolution and sustaining activities, including design changes, qualification of alternative components, and obsolescence management
  • Work collaboratively with professionals in electronics, mechanical, optical, embedded software, testing, manufacturing, and procurement, while also serving as a technical reference for PCB layout

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid experience developing highly complex electronic boards, with the autonomy to lead projects and make technical decisions
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer for developing and reviewing schematics, layouts, libraries, and manufacturing and assembly files
  • Experience with multilayer board layout, including stackup definition, controlled impedances, and the placement and routing of critical signals
  • Applied knowledge of analog and digital circuits and power systems, with consideration for signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC
  • Knowledge of electronic board manufacturing and assembly processes, including DFMA practices
  • Experience with hardware bring-up, testing, laboratory instrumentation, debugging, and failure investigation
  • Ability to interpret datasheets, specifications, and technical documentation in English
  • Preferred: experience with high-speed interfaces
  • Preferred: experience with programmable logic design in VHDL and/or Verilog
  • Preferred: experience with tools for analyzing or simulating signal integrity, power integrity, and electromagnetic behavior
  • Preferred: experience developing telecommunications equipment, optical systems, or other high-availability electronic products
