About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the books for every entity, US and international, in QuickBooks Online; maintain clean entity and class structure and reconcile monthly
Direct the accounting assistant on categorization, receipts, invoices and reconciliations, and QA their work
Run payouts with the accounting assistant for contractors, partners and distributions, ensuring the right person receives the right amount at the right time with documentation
Track ownership splits and distributions so every partner knows exactly what they are owed and why
Build dashboards showing cash, revenue, costs and margins by entity and across the portfolio
Build projections and cash flow forecasts to support proactive decision-making
Provide partners with a monthly read on business performance, including growth, leakage and recommended actions
Review costs, subscriptions and vendor spend, and work with the team to optimize them
Set up finance for every new company from day one, including bank accounts, QuickBooks file and structure

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 to 3+ years in accounting or finance, ideally owning the books for a multi-entity business at eight figures or more
Expert in QuickBooks Online: classes, multiple entities and consolidated reporting
Comfortable across US and international entities and currencies. US tax knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.
Ecom experience is a bonus, not a requirement. It helps you understand Shopify payouts, Stripe, ad spend and contractor payments faster.
CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent strongly preferred
AI-native. You use AI to build models, dashboards and workflows faster, and you know what never gets uploaded. Our financial data stays private.

References from founders or owners whose books you've run are a big plus
