About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, evaluate, and advance business process improvement opportunities using RPA, workflow automation, IDP, AI, and related digital capabilities
Lead business analysis activities across process discovery, feasibility assessment, requirements definition, business-case development, solution-design collaboration, UAT, change readiness, deployment support, and value realization
Build and maintain consultative relationships with business unit executives and management
Serve as a subject matter expert on AI, automation, and process-improvement opportunities
Facilitate discovery workshops and educate stakeholders on AI and automation capabilities and use cases
Manage demand from assigned business units and develop requirements, business cases, and prioritization recommendations
Secure management and financial approvals; escalate issues and take corrective action
Assess requests for business value, feasibility, expected outcomes, and alignment with organizational priorities
Document current-state and future-state processes
Manage automation opportunities through intake, discovery, requirements, estimation, prioritization, design, UAT, change control, production readiness, deployment, hypercare, and benefits realization
Maintain visibility into initiatives, dependencies, risks, decisions, approvals, delivery status, and outcomes
Coordinate business and technical stakeholders to maintain requirements traceability
Develop AI and automation transformation roadmaps aligned to business objectives
Review project status reports and escalate issues
Evaluate and support AI-enabled productivity, automation, workflow optimization, and process redesign initiatives
Measure and report business outcomes, process improvements, and value realization
Partner with data, security, architecture, and technology teams to ensure compliance with standards and policies
Assess automation candidates for process stability, rules maturity, volume, exceptions, data quality, dependencies, security, continuity, constraints, and value
Determine whether process redesign, workflow automation, integration, RPA, IDP, conversational AI, Agentic AI, or non-automation solutions are appropriate
Support AI governance, privacy, risk management, and security requirements
Participate in annual business planning, business reviews, service planning, budgeting, and roadmap planning
Manage internal business relationships, prepare business requirements and project plans, assess resource needs, and ensure IT policy compliance
Communicate findings, recommendations, business cases, risks, priorities, and status updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with technology teams, project teams, vendors, and business partners to deliver and adopt solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field
5+ years of progressive responsibility in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Digital Transformation, or related experience
4+ years supporting Robotic Process Automation, Intelligent Automation, Workflow Automation, or AI-enabled business solutions in an enterprise environment
Experience with process discovery, current-state and future-state process modeling, root-cause analysis, and requirements elicitation
Experience creating Process Definition Documents, business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and User Acceptance Testing documentation
Experience supporting automation solutions from intake through production deployment, transition to support, and post-implementation validation
Experience coordinating across business owners, developers, solution architects, cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, and third-party delivery partners
Experience developing business cases, establishing baselines, estimating benefits, defining success metrics, and measuring realized business outcomes
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, change control, testing, and production-readiness practices
Ability to understand integrations, APIs, structured data, authentication concepts, service accounts, queues, and exception-handling approaches
Experience supporting business adoption, change management, training, or operational readiness activities associated with new technologies preferred
Experience with workflow automation, RPA, IDP, conversational AI, generative AI, or related capabilities preferred
Familiarity with UiPath, Automation Hub, Insights, Orchestrator, Task Capture, Document Understanding, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, SAP, or comparable enterprise platforms preferred
Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Information Technology, or other control-sensitive business processes preferred
Experience working with distributed or third-party delivery teams preferred
Familiarity with audit controls, data privacy, cybersecurity, records management, and segregation-of-duties principles preferred
Basic proficiency with Excel and business data-analysis tools; SQL or Power BI experience preferred
One or more ITIL, BRM, PMP, CBAP, Six Sigma, or comparable certifications preferred
