About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own month-end close activities for fixed assets, leases, corporate accruals, and other corporate accounting areas
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and resolve reconciling items
- Manage accounting and analysis for corporate cost areas, including fixed assets, leases, legal expenses, and related accruals
- Review and maintain lease records in Visual Lease using current agreements, payment expectations, and CBRE inputs
- Analyze actual results against forecast and prior periods and explain cost drivers and accrual estimate changes
- Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready account and accrual support
- Prepare the monthly cash flow statement and balance sheet variance analysis
- Perform control reviews, identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and support compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies
- Improve and document end-to-end accounting processes, policies, procedures, controls, and ownership requirements
- Use Oracle Fusion, FCCS, ARCS, Smart View, Excel, automation, and AI-assisted tools to improve accounting analysis
- Review accounting work prepared by other team members and provide feedback and issue-resolution support
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation and responding to questions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business or accounting required
- CPA required
- 3-5 years in an accounting role
- Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP experience required
- Oracle Fusion experience preferred, including FCCS and ARCS exposure
- Public accounting and/or manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Corporate accounting experience preferred
- Familiarity with fixed asset accounting, cash flow, or general ledger experience a plus
- Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, or ERP implementation experience a plus
- Strong analytical, time management, prioritization, and organization skills
- Experience with AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making a plus
- Spanish proficiency a plus
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
