About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive growth in local restaurant catering through proactive outreach and relationship building
  • Execute high-volume cold calling, emailing, and in-person canvassing within an assigned geographic territory
  • Research local businesses, corporations, community organizations, churches, colleges, and universities
  • Generate catering sales by securing new clients and conducting follow-up outreach
  • Gather feedback and strengthen client relationships
  • Support Area Managers and General Managers with catering order implementation as needed
  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity and provide insights to the organization
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and on schedule
  • Foster relationships with restaurant team members to support catering operations
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly department meetings through Microsoft Teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3+ years of catering sales experience preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent presentation ability
  • Creative and innovative personality with a strong motivational drive
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook (Email and Calendar)
  • Ability to interact professionally and appropriately with team members, guests and clients
  • Attend networking events
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel 40–60% throughout various regions of New England
