About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and develop complex backend services using Golang
Translate product and business requirements into robust technical solutions
Own the full lifecycle of services, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Work with architects and cross-functional teams to design scalable systems
Ensure secure, high-performance, and highly available backend infrastructure
Mentor junior team members and lead by example through thoughtful code reviews
Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and autonomy
Participate in phone, video, and potentially face-to-face interviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–8 years of backend development experience
Deep expertise in Golang
Proven experience designing and scaling microservices architectures
Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven design, and API architecture
Experience building and documenting RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS
Familiarity with OAuth, SSO, JWT, and secure authentication practices
Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global team setup
Experience writing unit, integration, and performance tests
Experience with Vue.js or React.js
Exposure to observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
Prior experience in high-scale SaaS or enterprise product environments
Contributions to open-source or community initiatives
