About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join the Application & Platform (APT) team for Bridg, PAR’s Identity Resolution platform
Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support
Build reliable, scalable software using AWS, Snowflake, Java, Python, and React
Work with external partner APIs and implement integrations
Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions for the APT team
Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve existing solutions
Monitor systems for reliability and performance
Partner with Product Managers, Client Partners, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs and API requirements into technical solutions
Maintain technical documentation and stay current with emerging tools, patterns, and standards
Support customer-facing systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong object-oriented programming skills, with Java and/or Python preferred
Highly motivated, curious, capable learner
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong data skills, including SQL proficiency and working with structured datasets
Experience building cloud-based applications, with AWS preferred (EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, RDS, Redshift)
Experience working with Snowflake
Experience integrating with third-party APIs and implementing against API documentation
Experience with Spring Boot is a plus
Authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada
Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Champaign, Illinois
