About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, plan, and execute a comprehensive calendar of conferences, workshops, seminars, and networking sessions focused on healthcare innovation
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to deliver event components on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
- Manage venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, registration processes, and health and safety compliance
- Oversee event marketing and communications, including promotional campaigns, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-up
- Monitor event budgets, negotiate contracts, and prepare detailed reports on event outcomes and participant feedback
- Manage both in-person and virtual events to support the Institute’s mission, reputation, outreach, collaboration, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience managing events, preferably within the healthcare or nonprofit sectors
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in healthcare services or with healthcare innovation organizations (preferred)
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms and digital engagement tools (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills to assess event performance metrics and implement improvements (preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support event schedules (preferred)
