About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide concierge level customer service to patients, referring offices, and team members by phone, in person, or electronically
  • Greet patients and visitors upon arrival
  • Answer the phone promptly
  • Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and use of exam and treatment rooms
  • Prepare a daily schedule for each provider
  • Prepare patient charts
  • Manage patient flow to reduce patient wait time
  • Assist patients as necessary
  • Maintain the reception area in a neat and orderly condition
  • Maintain professional relationships with referring offices
  • Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of customer service experience required
  • Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but not required
  • Understanding of dental terminology
  • Friendly, inviting, and professional personality and presence
  • Basic office skills such as typing and filing
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the United States, as verified through E-Verify
