About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide full-range computer and systems support for user requests, multifunction devices, account permissions, and technical troubleshooting
  • Supervise a 5–7-person Help Desk cadre
  • Define General System maintenance scope and objectives
  • Manage Help Desk priorities and ticketing queues
  • Maintain, administer, back up, restore, report on, and perform general maintenance for hardware operating systems and software applications, primarily Windows OS, in DoD environments
  • Support on-call, after-duty-hours, holiday, staff-absence, and incident-response services
  • Manage access accounts and role-level privileges
  • Support end-user hardware, software, and application requirements through remote and desk-side engagement
  • Manage inventory, document inventory changes, implement hand-receipting processes, support deployment-kit management, and complete related documentation
  • Provide OCONUS and CONUS travel support approximately once or twice yearly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least three (3) years’ experience providing Help Desk support
  • Experience providing remote and desk-side support in a Microsoft Windows 10-based environment
  • Current Secret security clearance required
  • Current Security+ certification with Cloud+, GICSP, SCCP, GSEC, CASP+, or CCNP Security
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related area, which may be offset by additional experience
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with military, civilian, and contractor personnel at all levels
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented approach
  • Operational resilience and ability to perform in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
  • Preferred: at least two (2) years’ experience as a member of a senior military staff; joint experience
  • Preferred: at least two (2) years’ experience supporting NIPR and SIPR personnel account credentialing
  • TS/SCI eligibility preferred
