About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, attentive service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all requests are met to guest satisfaction
  • Assist in training and mentoring new servers on procedures and service standards
  • Address guest complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary
  • Monitor the dining area to ensure smooth service and address disruptions or issues
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and staff to deliver food and beverages efficiently
  • Maintain thorough menu knowledge to answer guest questions and provide recommendations
  • Ensure tables are cleared and reset quickly, maintaining cleanliness and organization
  • Support opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning dining areas

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of restaurant serving experience
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership abilities with experience in mentoring or training others
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
