About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming dining experience
Present menus, take accurate orders, and provide tailored recommendations
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and attention to guest needs
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, address requests, and refill beverages
Respond knowledgeably to guest inquiries about menu items and dietary needs
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and organization
Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate concerns to management when needed
Assist with opening and closing duties, including dining area setup and workstation cleaning

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of restaurant serving experience
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
